om·ni·chan·nel
/ˈämnəˌCHanl/
Adjective
denoting or relating to a type of retail that integrates the different methods of shopping available to consumers
(e.g., online, in a physical store, or by phone).
Not to be confused with Multichannel
While multichannel strategies offer several points of engagement, they operate independently rather than cohesively,
unlike omnichannel, which connects every channel around a unified, consumer-centric experience

Stuart has a deep understanding of omnichannel strategy within the optical and retail sectors, having built and scaled programs that seamlessly connect digital and physical consumer experiences. He launched the UK’s first nationwide home delivery service for contact lenses, later expanding the model across Europe in partnership with leading retailers. At CooperVision, he helped design and execute global omnichannel initiatives—integrating subscription models, on-demand ordering, and endless-aisle functionality through the EyeCare Prime platform. His work centers on putting the consumer at the heart of the journey—bridging e-commerce, retail, and professional channels to drive loyalty, convenience, and sustainable growth.
Stuart served as Global General Manager for EyeCare Prime, a division of CooperVision, where he led the development of advanced digital retail initiatives including “endless aisle” functionality, subscription-based contact lens programmes, and on-demand push/pull connectivity between practitioners and patients.
As Global Vice President and Head of Retail Insight & Strategy at CooperVision, Stuart played a key leadership role in shaping the company’s global omnichannel strategy, aligning digital transformation, retail execution, and patient engagement across international markets.
